Long before Black market opened the doors to it's store in 2000, founder Inma Rosich spent a decade selling her designs at the Mercat Galvany, in Barcelona. Her stand was famous for its unique products, as well as the crowds of loyal customers that gathered in front of it every week.

Having always been complimented on her style, Inma decided to share her talent and good taste with others. Nearly two decades later, the same women who queued up to buy the pieces at her stand in Mercat Galvany, still wear Black market collections.

That’s because, after nearly 20 years, we have learned how to strike a perfect balance between the elegant and the bohemian, which appeals to women of all ages. We hope you enjoy wearing each of our handmade pieces as much as we enjoyed making them.
